Disclaimer: Nope. Don't own it. Or the Super Special Song that Kairi sings. Whoever guesses correctly gets a cookie!
A/N: A lot of people want to do Christmas-themed fic specials. This is the Larxene/Kairi-flavoured special~! In the way that only I can bring you~! Oh yes. This fic references someone else's fic. ^_^ You know who you are. And thank you ~!!
Christmas was never Larxene's favorite holiday. Her memories of it were either terrible or mind-crushingly dull. But this Christmas was different. No more Marluxia, no more Xemnas, and more importantly, this was her first Christmas among normal, sane people.
"Kiss SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINING~~~ hitomi ni kuchizukete...!!!"
Maybe not. It wasn't exactly Christmas music, but Kairi was singing nonetheless, putting up the decorations. For some reason, she didn't mind these decorations. They didn't burn her retinas, unlike the Multicolored And Glitter-Choked Nightmare of Zexion and Demyx. Marluxia might still be fuming over that ordeal.
"Make me SHIIIIIINING~~~~ irozuku shigeki no hate ni Kagayakihajimeta MABOROSHIIIIIIIIII~~~~!!!"
Larxene asked, "Are you done yet?"
"Sure," Kairi answered, "With the singing or the decorating?"
Larxene said, "Fast pop songs don't suit you, Kairi. Does everyone decorate their home for Christmas?"
"Nah," Kairi said, "In fact, this is my first time decorating..."
Christmas was the second most dismal day of the year for Kairi. The only day that could beat Christmas for its ability to make Kairi absolutely miserable was Valentine's Day. But this Christmas looked a lot brighter, since she was spending it with somebody. The house on Seventh Street, where Crazy Kairi lived, would be the most festive, albeit slightly morbid, house on the block.
"...Normal people usually put angels or stars on trees," Kairi said, "Instead, we have doll heads on miniature pikes."
Larxene said, "Tis the season. I call it morbidly festive, don't you agree? Then again, 'normal' people have dead trees in their houses."
Kairi sighed. It was hopeless to try to change her, especially since Larxene was determined to make herself more obvious. At least there were no outdoor displays. Not this year, anyway. Besides, it could be infinitely worse.
"Yes," Kairi said, "It's...pretty."
"Let's have a party," Larxene said, "Just the two of us."
Kairi said, "I don't know...your parties end with missing clothes and us on the floor."
"So?" Larxene asked, "What's stopping us?"
Kairi thought for a second.
"Nothing," Kairi said, "Not really."
Christmas was always a bit depressing for them both.
This year, all of the bad memories would be behind them
"Sing something," Larxene said, "Something slow and sexy this time."
Kairi blushed and said, "Larxene! ...How embarrassing..."
~End~
...Yeah. It's not that coherent. But I will be cleaning this up later.
